A pest company had told me my attic and crawl space needed major work and quoted me around $14k. I contacted Alpine for a second opinion regarding attic insulation removal/sanitizing, new insulation, crawl space cleanup, and a new vapor barrier.
Dave came out to inspect everything and was very straightforward. Rather than trying to upsell unnecessary work, he told me the attic insulation was actually in decent shape and did not need to be replaced. He said the crawl space could benefit from a cleanup and vapor barrier refresh, but that it was not in terrible condition overall.
I appreciated the honesty and practical approach. The crew clearly spent real time cleaning and preparing the crawl space rather than simply throwing plastic down and leaving. Cleanup afterward was also very good.
In a world where many companies seem eager to push expensive remediation projects, it was refreshing to work with someone who gave a balanced assessment and recommended only what actually made sense for the home. I would absolutely recommend Alpine.

I want to give kudos to Sam and Mark. We had our air ducts cleaned after moving into our new home last spring; they probably hadn’t been cleaned in almost 30 years. Sam was very friendly and answered my numerous questions. I recently had my HVAC serviced from a different company and he seemed to think the return duct was still dirty, showing me a photo that was pretty dimly lit. I called alpine and they had Mark come out within a business day and double check the initial duct cleaning. Sure enough, the return looked clean to me, so seems that my HVAC tech just took a really poor photo. I once again had a ton of questions and Mark actually went up into my attic to look at the ducts himself, which was above and beyond. Overall Alpine has been there through the long haul so I really appreciated them being so hands on.
